Two Great Shows For Your Tuesday!

Today Editors' Closet debuted two fabulous shows. The first show is a footwear and handbag boutique by one of the world’s leading fashion designers, Oscar de la Renta. In 1963, torn between job opportunities with Elizabeth Arden and Christian Dior, de la Renta took the advice of Vogue’s editor-in-chief, Diana Vreeland, and worked designing custom clothing for Arden for two years. In 1965, he left to work for Jane Derby and when she passed away a few months later, he took over the label and relaunched it under his own name.
